I stayed here for 2 nights on my own. It was lovely and quiet. Room was nice and clean the staff were very helpful to accommodate my needs. It is also located perfectly near restaurants, bars and those enjoyable little market stall. Right in the heart of Poppies 1 :)

We were back at Asana 11th Dec through to 8 Jan 2016, were pleasantly surprised to see the breakfast area had been extended with extra seating and wall fans (a blessing on the really humid days and evenings). Mr Bagus and staff were as welcoming as ever, my sister who was in Bali for the 1st time (and only stayed for 2 weeks due to Christmas) was amazed at how clean and beautiful the hotel was. On her departure she complimented Mr Bagus on her totally wonderful experience at Asana. We had a wonderful Christmas Eve dinner at the hotel and equally fantastic New Years Eve at the hotel.
I was saddened to read review entitled “Disappointed”, his family were obviously at the hotel the same time as my family were and we did not hear any guest complaining. We have also stayed at Asana for the past 3 years, and there have not been any long term staff members that Asana got rid of, I know one staff member resigned to pursue a career in tourism and another staff member resigned to take a position with one of the banks. There is only 1 other person that has gone in the last 18 months to 2 years is an Australian person who was a self proclaimed staff member who took on the role of liaising with Australian guests and in some earlier reviews was referred to as the Australian Manager. This person was never an employee of the hotel.
I can only re-iterate if you have complaints or issues regarding the hotel speak up while you are there and have it resolved, don’t go home disappointed. Mr. Bagus and staff are very accommodating and will do all in their power to make your holiday an enjoyable experience as they have done for us each time we have stayed there.

Nice hotel in the heart of Kuta, close to everything. Free wifi nice pools and 24 reception. Free breakfast which is simple but enough. Only downside is it is on Poppies Lane 1 which can be sometimes hard to get to.

Room Tip: Best rooms for wifi are closest to reception, but these are also the loudest.

Didn’t arrive till 2am, picked up at the airport. Room was ready, no problems. Not overcrowded, nothing was to much trouble. Rooms were clean, staff friendly. Close to everything, walking distance. Can’t wait to go back

The food was nice, the place too, the swimming pools and facilities are good…the pools could be cleaner like in most hotels could. The hospitality is great but sometimes the staff could be more professional. The gym does not really exist…I have seen better air conditioned, but at least they brought a fan when i complained. The decoration of the place is simple and sophisticated, very cosy.

Room Tip: next to the smaller pool

The hotel accommodation was very good. The staff are friendly, helpful and accommodating. The room was spacious enough for you to move comfortably. The bathroom was clean, and well maintained. Except that the airconditioning unit seem a little old already. It takes some time to cool the entire room. Plus the airconditioning unit in my room leaks out drops of water making the room a little wet.
